King’s collection of tracks has everything you could want in a Country record including amazing sound, captivating lyrics, and classic beats for some good ol’ honky-tonk two-stepping. Big things are in store for King!

Chris Colston came in to 2018 as young kid with a lot of potential, but after dropping his “Gone – EP,” he’s turned in to an artist who’s quickly rising through the ranks. With his wildly successful title track leading the charge and amassing over 300K streams on Spotify, the 4 track EP is full of heavy guitars, powerful vocals, and smokey production, creating a edgy sound and exciting vibe. There’s no doubt this Lindale, Texas native has found his sound! Word is, he’s already gearing up for new tunes and we can’t wait to hear them! We think this is just the beginning of an exciting career.

Corey Hunt Band – North of Low Water 21042
After listening to “North of Low Water”, I immediately looked up show dates to hear these tunes live! I’m digging the lyrics of the tunes along with the acoustic sounds featured. The band’s alternative/rock & roll attitude also make for a fun record to tap your foot and sing along to! This an album I find myself coming back to again and again.

Cameron Nelson’s “First Gear – EP” is chalked full of edgy production and cranked up guitars. The rock vibe and infectious energy make this one you roll down the windows and crank up the volume to. Shea Abshier & The Nighthowlers – Potluck
Perfectly named, “Potluck” is a dinner table of airy, heartfelt and unique tracks. It’s a mixture of Indie-Alternative and the Austin Country scene. This is the kind of album you play at an outdoor barbecue, but can have a moment to yourself to reflect on life. Between the genuine lyrics, soft harmonies, and variation of instrumentals, “Potluck” is easily one of the most diverse and fun albums of the year.

Huser Brother Band – Find My Way
This EP had an excellent showcase of this band’s talent and sound. The stories are a collection of the life experiences of the bands’ and was a fun way to get to know them. After first hearing “Dance Floor”, I couldn’t wait to check out more from the group. These songs are fun jams and make me excited for this band’s future. I am totally rooting for them!

Django Walker – That’s Just Me
Django Walker offers a 13 track album full of smart songwriting and sing along choruses. There are some songs that really grab a hold of you and make you listen. This is probably my favorite album from him so far.

Jody Booth’s “The Rosewood Tapes Volume One” is just good ole country music. With a variety of honky-tonk, heartbreak, and wisdom, there’s so much to like about this EP. Rich songwriting on top of neo-traditional instrumentation that perfectly compliments a great country voice…is a winner in my book every time.

Darrin Morris Band’s “Preacher Man” has a whole and rich sound of modern country music. Full of personal stories, faith, love and heartbreak the 8 track project gives you plenty to dive in to. With easy to embrace messages and smooth vocals, this is one you can sit down, sit back and just listen to.
