An important message about our chart and content

Texas Music Pickers is a passion project of ours that is done in our spare time.  Unfortunately, the unprecedented times and current events have caused a significant shift in our personal lives and therefore our free time.

You’ve probably noticed stagnation in our content and our chart being published later and later over the last few weeks.

Unfortunately, we’re at the point, where we can no longer guarantee the ability to put out our chart every week; this week being one of those weeks.

As streaming and Spotify become more popular, and the amount of weekly submissions to the chart continues to grow, curating our chart has grown exponentially as a time commitment. With the way the chart is designed, the information has to all be compiled within the same day, and we just don’t see a way we can promise to get it out every week for the time being.

The good news is, this is temporary and we will still publish the chart the weeks we’re able to. When the world stops spinning so fast, and a little bit of normalcy resumes in our lives, we’ll be back at it full force! We’ll also remain active on socials.

Thanks for your understanding and patience!

  1. We completely understand and are here for ya’ll as well. Texas Music Pickers services and passion for music is appreciated. I don’t know how many new artist I have discovered by looking at the chart on a weekly basis. One thing I have learned through all of this is that all of these artists love music and their fans. This will eventually pass and life will go back to normal. Be Blessed!
