Single Spotlight: Clay Shelburn – Dance With Me

Our spotlight shines on Clay Shelburn this week! “Dance with Me” jumped 21(!) places, earning Texas Regional Radio Report’s Highest Debut, and Record to Watch!  Shelburn wrote the song after envisioning walking in to a bar and asking a girl to dance after some liquid courage. “I’m a hopeless romantic, so I visualized the perfect scenario and wrote that down” he told us.

Combing blues, jazz, pop, and a hint of big band, “Dance with me” immediately stood out to us. The rich instrumentation full of rhythmic guitars, catchy keys, and ear-catching horns, packs a powerful punch!  Shelburn’s bluesy vocals are as delightful, as they are charming and accent the fun-natured message of the song!

This is Shelburn’s debut single off of his “Defined” album and is quickly rising up the charts!  We think this has some big potential for chart success and look forward to watching it climb!  We want you to help us push it up the chart by requesting it on your online and local radio stations!
