McKinney blends an a underdone snarling musical underbelly full of equal parts trained prowess and almost out of control piss and vinegar attitude; soaring sing along hook melodies, with lyrics that are raw and raucous, reflective and radiant; simultaneously weaving a narrative that is both uniquely his and everyman’s story.

Once primarily family affairs and a mainstay of the American musical landscape, traditional music duos have been replaced by music business pre-packaged duos created by label executives. Jesse and Noah have re-claimed the age-old concept of the “brother duo” and reinvented it for the Americana era.

Rob Ybanez was born and raised in the great state of Texas, and now makes his home in the heart of red dirt territory of Guthrie, Oklahoma.  He served in the USARMY for 6 years and most of that was at Ft. Sill Oklahoma.  While in the Army he played with a couple local bands as a lead guitarist and singer, with limited success.  He, his wife, and daughter live on a ranch outside of Guthrie where they raise Angus, and you can find him on his tractor as much as his guitar.  Industry professional agree that he has explosive yet smooth vocals, combined with intense guitar playing and song writing makes for an awesome combination.
