Jon Wolfe to Record Live Album at Gruene Hall
Jon Wolfe has announced he will be recording a live album at the historic Gruene Hall. The recording will take place on two nights scheduled for November 9th and 10th and will feature opening acts including Dalton Domino (11/09) and John Evans (11/10). Tickets are on sale now here!

Bri Bagwell’s album is set to release her upcoming album on September 21st. The Las Cruces native announced those who “Bri-Order” her new album will receive an instant download of the single “If You Were a Cowboy”. Granger Smith has released his new video for “You’re In It” and features two of Texas Country’s favorite friends, Parker McCollum and Koe Wetzel. The love song’s video features the trouble-making duo assisting Smith with a burglary but includes a surprising ending…check it out below!
Red Shahan Releases First Music Video
Red Shahan and the band released their first music video featuring the song “Waterbill”. The band “traveled around west Texas filming this wild and off the cuff presentation” featuring Texas music venues such as the Blue Light Live in Lubbock and Crider’s in Hunt, Texas. The video was filmed by Hooey who posted, “It took a couple of pro bronc riders, a Texas Ranger, a mechanic, some spare tires, plenty of whiskey and a wild crowd of Red Shahan fans, but we burned up the highways…” Check out the video below!
Laura Jane Houle Says Farewell to Flatland Cavalry
Flatland Cavalry announced that fiddler Laura Jane Houle played her last show with the band as of June 28th. Houle also announced the farewell on Instagram and told fans she is looking forward to her next endeavor in the music industry in her “sequins and fringe”. Houle performed with Dalton Domino this past week at Main Street Crossing in Tomball, Texas.
As for the remaining members of the Lubbock crew, the band says they are looking forward to releasing their new single this month and will being auditioning fiddlers in between shows.

As he awaits for the release of his coming album, “I Travel On” out August 10th, Jason Eady will be helping the victims of the devastating fires of the Redding, California area by collecting donations items at shows.
