Giovannie and the Hired Guns Deliver New Radio Release “Another Time”

February just got even better y’all…we are excited to see that Giovannie and the Hired Guns have released one of our favorite tracks, “Another Time”, from Bad Habits to radio!

It’s the true stories and songs that are the best and we learned back in August in the band’s Artist Spotlight that bandleader and songwriter, Giovannie Yanez, wrote this breakup song after jamming out with his buddy who had just gone through a split with his girlfriend.

Yanez recently gave us more insight and told us that, “…everything in that song happened in the order it’s in. The breakup, the drinking, and the waiting on the last text by her. [Another Time is] a song that basically wrote itself.” Yanez also mentioned the tune is one of the band’s favorite to perform live and we expect this one to be a new all-time fan favorite.

The heartfelt lyrics and sustained notes along with killer guitar solos are highlights of this solid jam that will have you stomping your boots and rocking out. The song captures all the feelings of regret, misery, and anticipation that come from a relationship ending:

After these three shots of whiskey is when I miss you the most.

I spend most nights, staring down at a cracked screen phone…

…Hoping it’ll light up like you did my whole world…

I spend most nights at home all alone.

Hitting radio late last week, “Another Time” is the third track released to Texas Radio by the band from Lipan, Texas and we only look forward to more tunes from them in the future. Yanez and band members Chance Bannister (Lead Guitar), Tim Rugg (Drums), and Alex Trejo (Bass) have had us jamming hard this year…every track off Bad Habits is just damn good. Yanez’s vocal and songwriting talents along with the musical blends of “The Guns” adds such a fresh, raw sound to the Texas Music scene.

Do yourself a favor and check out the song below…stream it, request it to your local and online Texas Radio stations. And let’s get this one moving on the Texas Music Spotify Chart as well.
