Jesse Raub Jr. Aligns with Boots for Troops

Furthering their dedication to be a charity Texans can be glad to support, Boots For Troops is proud to announce that Texas Country Music rising star Jess Raub Jr. will be aligning with the organization in 2019 to help raise awareness and bring additional support to the organization.

Jimmy and Boots for Troops fill a true need that is close to my heart as a Texan and American. Anyone that put their life on the line to protect mine, and this way of life we love, deserves my respect and acknowledgement. These are the men and women I call family”, said Jesse Raub Jr.

A native Texan born in Houston, Texas and hailing from Magnolia, Texas. As the front man of his own band, Jesse has spent the last 10 years traveling throughout the great state of Texas rocking the traditional Texas Country sounds and merging them with true Southern Rock. Jesse entered and won the Rising Star contest in 2003 prompting his first studio album.

Not resting on his laurels, Jesse appeared on Cody Johnson’s 2011 critically acclaimed album “A Different Day” as a co-writer for the hit “The Way She Loves Me.” In 2014, he scored his first #1 on Texas Radio as a co-writer on Johnson’s “Dance Her Home”. With the release of his third album, 2016’s “Sittin Here”, Jesse received accolades and support from Texas radio, which provided him the opportunity to share the stage with some of Texas’s biggest country stars. Jesse has shared the spotlight with stars like Lee Ann Womack, Kevin Fowler, Johnny Rodriguez, Dub Miller, Roger Creager, Cody Johnson, Trent Willmon, Jason Allen, and many more. Jesse has had eight(8) recordings of his own chart in the top 50 of the Texas Music Chart and the Texas Radio Report: “Blame It On The Music”, “Bad Intentions”, “Good Man Go Wrong”, “Plead the Fifth”, “She Can Forgive” and 2017’s #1 “She’ll Put The Hurt On You”, 2018’s #1 “Mistakes”, and 2018’s #1 “Sittin’ Here”.

Boots For Troops mission to uplift and empower the overall morale and mental well-being of deployed troops is something Jesse and his band deeply care about. Founded in 2015 by Navy veteran Jimmy Rogers and his wife Lindsey who are native Texans as well, and reside in Magnolia, TX where Boots For Troops is headquartered. The organization is known for its custom care package program. Having sent out more than 750 customized care packages to individual deployed service members, each with a new, pair of boots. The charity also fly’s military family’s home to their hometowns during the holidays. More than 80 people have been flown since the founding of the organization.

“Boots For Troops is doing something special for troops around the world from right here in our hometown. I wish everyone in the country could witness the impact this organization is making on our deployed troops. It is truly something bigger than us and a lot of fun to be a part of. Jesse realizes that, and he wants to do his part to see it keep growing. I’m thankful for his gesture to align himself and help bus continue to support as many service members as we can”, said Jimmy Rogers.
